Data Retention & Deletion
Effective August 1, 2026
Owner control
The business account owner controls the operational records entered into Cinder Spur for Detailers. The product provides workspace JSON, customer CSV, record manifests, and photo metadata exports. Eligible photo files can be downloaded within the product's documented browser archive limits.
Active accounts
Operational records are retained while an account is active so the service can provide scheduling, customer history, financial records, recovery, and audit functions. Owners should also keep regular exports outside the application.
Included storage
The $65 monthly subscription includes up to 25 GB of job-photo storage for one workspace. The application measures stored photo bytes and blocks additional uploads before the approved limit would be exceeded. Existing records remain available for review, export, or deletion. Cinder Spur does not apply an automatic storage overage charge.
Recovery points and backups
In-product recovery points are stored with the workspace and protect against some operator mistakes. They are not an off-platform disaster backup. Cinder Spur's operating procedures require separate production backups and restore checks, while each owner remains responsible for downloading portable exports appropriate to the business.
Account closure
Before closure, the owner should download required business records and photo files. An authenticated owner may request complete workspace erasure. Identity, ownership, recent authentication, and typed confirmation are required before destructive deletion is performed.
Deletion scope
Complete workspace erasure revokes portal access and removes tenant-owned database records and file objects associated with the verified business workspace. Some limited billing, security, fraud-prevention, legal, or incident records may be retained when reasonably required.
